What you’ll be doing…

The Tableau CSG Transformation and Strategy team (T&S) is a newly created global team with the directive to design and incubate forward-thinking and ground-breaking solutions and teams across CSG. The SCPPE team will reside within T&S.

As the Senior Director, Transformation & Strategy (Partners) , your primary focus will be to build and deliver CSG’s Partner Strategy and Roadmap. In consultation with the CSG pillars of Success, Service and Support, you will articulate and map the role of Partners in CSG’s Go-to-Market, now and in the future. This will include delivering and embedding a CSG Partner scorecard which clearly articulates the contribution of partners to key CSG’s goals such as lowered attrition, higher renewal rates and customer success with Tableau.

You will also partner closely with Tableau’s WW Partner Organization Leadership and represent CSG in internal Partner strategy discussions. You are the interface between Partners and CSG.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

+ Serve as the Tableau CSG point of contact for the WW Partner Organization, driving the CSG Partner strategy & Roadmap.

+ Shape, drive and report on CSG Partner V2MOM methods and measures.

+ Define how CSG works jointly with Partners to ensure that our customers receive the right level of engagement, whether delivered by Tableau or Partners. As part of this effort, (a) build a business model for the proposed CSG-Partner focused initiatives (b) secure executive partner consensus on the proposal © drive the implementation and deployment of the initiative with a cross-functional team

+ Drive the creation and implementation of a Partner scorecard aligned to key CSG measures.

+ Additionally, you will provide the Partner perspective to CSG’s long term strategy, resulting transformational programs and incubation areas as they emerge

+ Build and nurture relationships with senior partners and their key customers where appropriate.

+ Create an environment of innovation and continual improvement to re-imagine how we deliver Partner Success across CSG.

+ Conduct regular cadence between internal and external partners globally.

Who you are…

+ Experienced. Established leader with deep experience in building and delivering high impact cross-regional programs. Significant prior experience defining and implementing strategy for partners with respect to Customer Success.

+ Strategic. Strategic problem solver with consistent track record advancing innovative ideas through sound business case. Ability to blend consulting and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new CSG partner initiatives.

+ Analytical. Expertise in Tableau and other tools or willingness to learn. Demonstrated deep quantitative and qualitative analytical ability.

+ Purpose Driven. Natural leader and self-starter who can lead with authority, coordinate multiple efforts towards common goals, and help other team members excel in their work by knowledge transferring/sharing

+ Communication Finesse. Strong verbal and written communication of qualitative and quantitative business cases. Executive-level presentation skills/experience. Experience connecting and influencing strong partner relationships at all levels inside and outside of the organization.

+ Creative and Solution Oriented. Ability to quickly assess ambiguous situations and create solutions towards a common goal.

+ Collaborative. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization.
