Financial Systems Manager
Capital One's Finance Shared Systems team is seeking a highly motivated, talented, and collaborative professional to join the group as a Manager. The ideal candidate is passionate about bringing the future of finance to life for our accounting associates and business partners. The Shared Systems team blends the disciplines of application support, application enhancements, and process innovation. The team is responsible for providing day-to-day support for the General Ledger, Reconciliation, Consolidation and Expense products and also prioritizes and develops enhancements to these applications to provide a better experience for our customers.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, analytical, self-motivated and with great attention to detail.
In this role you will:
Define strategy and approach for the future state of Controllers applications
Engage with a cross functional project team to design and implement new systems and processes, embracing modern technologies such as cloud, microservices, and platforms
Challenge current process design to be more standardized, scalable, and sustainable.
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of Accounting or Financial Services industry experience
At least 2 years of experience in an Agile Environment
At least 1 year of people management experience
At least 8 years of Financial Services industry experience
At least 4 years of Agile and project management experience
At least 3 years of people management experience
At least 1 year of experience with PeopleSoft Financials System
At least 1 year of experience using Jira
At least 1 year of experience in product management
