Senior Associate, Cyber - DevSecOps
In this hands-on technical role, you will be part of a collaborative Cyber Engineering team responsible for building and deploying platforms and services used to provide Information Security capabilities here at Capital One. You will use your technical expertise and embrace new and emerging technologies to deliver robust security solutions, whilst ensuring that Information Security remains an integral part of the corporate culture at Capital One.
What you'll do
Build, deploy and operate a wide range of robust and fit-for-purpose security tools and services, in a Cloud-first culture
Ensure strong and effective security controls are in place to detect and mitigate risks across all on-prem and Cloud environments to meet business and regulatory requirements
Work closely and collaboratively with a large number of distributed engineering and operational teams across UK and US Tech, working in an AGILE delivery model
Promote DevSecOps, leading by example to change existing systems and practices for the better, allowing all functions to do more with existing resources
Improve and industrialise existing automation and scripting with a view to reducing fragility, time of execution, dependencies and vendor lock-in
Assist other Information Security teams with evaluating technology to ensure adherence to developing standards and technical integration with current capabilities
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
At least 2 years of system administrator experience
At least 1 year of experience in production support and troubleshooting
1+ year of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
2+ years of experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic)
2+ years experience with Python or Powershell
One or more of the following industry certifications; AWS, CISSP, CEH
