Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer to be based in our Newark, Delaware office.

Major functions include:

+ Attendance at municipal public meetings

+ Review of plans for residential and commercial developments

+ Stormwater Plan reviews including Erosion and Sedimentation Plan reviews

+ Stormwater conveyance and management project design services

+ MS4 compliance and annual report preparation

+ Review and approve developers Escrow calculations

+ Review and recommend for approval Escrow releases

+ Respond to all manner of general engineering requests

+ Act as a liaison to regulatory agencies as required

+ Engagement with existing and potential clients for business development

+ Provide technical support to other engineering staff

Minimum Requirements

+ BA/BS + six (6) years of related work experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Three (3) years serving as a Municipal Engineer

+ PA PE or “ability to obtain” within minimum requirements

Preferred Qualifications

+ BA/BS +8 years or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Must have some experience serving as a Municipal Engineer
