Job Description

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Software Engineering position in Newark, DE.

JOB DUTIES:

Work with the scrum team and business partners to develop and roll out state-of-the-art toolsets to private banking client service team. Create innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. Improve the design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. Communicate with the team and other key stakeholders on the progress of development. Drive module and team of junior developers, and guide and mentor them to deliver business functionalities. Perform root cause analysis of issues or observations from production environment to ensure no impact on business or client. Ensure quality controls are in place, such as code coverage, automation testing, and code reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Application/Software Developer, Systems Integration, IT Consultant, or related occupations. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following skills and technologies: software development; application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines; architecture and design across all systems; developmental toolsets; HTLM5; Bootstrap; AngularJS and ReactJS; databases technologies such as SQL or no-SQL; agile development and practices; standard build and deployment tools; devops model; automated testing and continuous integration; Core Java and J2EE; Spring BOOT and Framework; JBPM Flow; Cassandra; Apache Kafka; Apache Tomcat; Oracle; Cucumber; Dynatrace; Splunk; Elastic Search; Hadoop; Zookeeper; PL and SQL; Maven; Hibernate; MQ; Selenium; REST; SOAP; Cloud Foundry; Cloud and GAIA; AWS; OOPS; Angular; JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML; GIT and BitBucket; and Jules and Jenkins.
