Job Description


We are actively recruiting for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This opportunity is an on-going contract position that may be in-office or remote. This person will be responsible for supporting a fast-paced, dynamic Complex Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Litigation practice in Wilmington, Delaware. The candidate will be responsible for managing a large volume of clients which will include:

• Serve as main point of contact for clients in all matters relating to litigation

• Manage all incoming and outgoing client correspondence

• Tracking client medical information

• Assist with drafting factual complaints, cite-check and proofread legal documents to ensure proper formatting and compliance with local, state and federal court rules

• Prepare summons and complaints, answers to interrogatories, fact-sheets, exhibit lists, subpoenas and supporting materials for filing with the court.

• Maintain case calendars

• Perform legal research using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and various public-access websites

Required skills:

• 3-5 years of experience with all phases of the litigation process in the areas of mass tort, medical malpractice or personal injury

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and timelines

· Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Westlaw, LexisNexis and PACER

· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

· Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification preferred

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed
