The Card Authorizations Product is responsible for the availability, speed, and accuracy of Credit Card Transaction Decisions, with ongoing focus on driving down operating costs, going faster, and improving customer experiences through innovation.

The Card Authorizations Product Quality Analyst is responsible for executing and updating Automated Regression scripts needed for each product release of the Card Authorizations Platform, understanding and coordination impacts across other products and Card systems and processes, as well coordinating Card Authorizations’ sponsored initiatives with other products. In addition, the Card Authorizations’ Quality Analyst would be responsible for testing tied to physical card and production implementation, including off hours support.

Responsibilities include: working across a number of sprint teams and initiatives each release to understand impact to regression scenarios, executing scenarios, updating scenarios, collaborating with stakeholders and recommending process & technology improvements and identifying efficiency opportunities, as well as appropriate support and escalations.

To achieve success, the Card Authorizations’ Product Quality Analyst is expected to do the following:

+ Attend all design walkthrough’s related to the end to end workflow

+ Review all release documentation for impact to testing

+ Documenting testing artifacts such as Test plans, milestones, trace matrix, Test scripts, defect and Test execution reports

+ Work closely with technology partners to identify, prioritize and automate the testing of functionalities as they mature

+ Develop testing processes and approaches according to JPMC Chase, and Lean/Six Sigma standards

+ Assist in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy/plan

+ Work with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases

+ Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems

+ Facilitate resolution and communication of cross-application/organization architectural issues and decisions

+ Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design

+ Document test procedures and findings

+ Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups.

+ Create final test report

+ Assess readiness and deviation of product/project performance based upon test results and product specifications

+ Perform the tests in both the UAT and/or contingency/backup environments

+ Assess post implementation issues against test inventory to identify gaps

+ Create and maintain test case inventory/library

+ Evaluate test processes/tools to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or consolidation of test practices.

+ Lead and provide Release Management support through deployment cycles to ensure quality validations and production support occurs

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years’ experience in a financial technology automated testing role

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Teamwork and promoting collaboration among team members

+ Planning and organization including the ability to manage timelines, identify dependencies and risks and escalate appropriately as needed across a number of work streams/initiatives and teams

+ Comfortable recognizing and resolving conflicting priorities among stakeholders

+ Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum & LeSS and Agile Tools (JIRA & Confluence)

+ Technical Skills:

+ Knowledge of Auth Simulators (VISA / Mastercard)

+ Knowledge of Test automation tools : LeanFT (Java), Selenium

+ Knowledge of Message type ISO 8583

+ Knowledge of CI/CD Tools / Processes : Jenkins, Bitbucket

+ Knowledge of Credit Card Lifecycle / Payments

+ Basic understanding of API / Micro-services / Cloud

+ Knowledge of Test Driven Development / Behavior Driven Development

+ Familiarity with COBOL/JCL/CICS/DB2

+ Knowledge of Mainframe Technology & TSYS
