Job Description

WSFS Bank is seeking a FinTech Product Manager. The FinTech Product Manager will report to the Director of Consumer Lending to help establish new and manage existing strategic FinTech relationships within the Customer Lending division. The incumbent is responsible for the ongoing performance, adherence to service level agreements, and compliance requirements of the products and partnerships in the FinTech portfolio. The FinTech Product Manager will own the relationship with partners and serve as a trusted advisor with a focus on sustainability and growth. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the vendor relationship manager for Consumer Lending FinTech solutions.
  • Interact with the vendor/partner on the identification, tracking and resolution of issues and concerns.
  • Liaise with other departments within WSFS to establish and refine processes in support of repeatability and operational excellence.
  • Utilize internal and external data sources and analytical skills to standardize portfolio reporting, identify revenue/efficiency opportunities, enhance customer experiences, and improve the performance of the portfolio.
  • Support the gathering of documentation in relation to internal audits and regulatory requests.
  • Work with key stakeholders to support the evaluation of potential new business opportunities, from idea screening through feasibility assessment and business case development to eventual implementation.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and document business requirements to develop the product backlog and support of the portfolio roadmap.
  • Supporting on communication and reporting on FinTech activities including metrics, success stories and highlighting key achievements.
  • Monitor the fintech landscape and capture key insights on industry trends and customer intelligence with respect to emerging technology/innovations in the Consumer Lending space.
  • Assist in formulating WSFS' FinTech strategy to enhance competitive positioning, expand the product offering and improve the economics of the business.
  • Support in the ongoing development of Consumer Lending capabilities through participation in cross line of business projects.

Minimum Requirement
  • 2+ years managing complex and high value customer facing vendor relationships
  • Background in Financial Services or Fintech and understanding of Consumer Lending originations and servicing
  • Product Management experience preferably in Financial Services for lending/loan products
  • Proven data analysis experience
  • Experience managing business client relationships
  • Self-starter who is capable of being highly autonomous
  • Preferred - experience leading projects
  • Understanding of the regulations associated with Consumer Lending products.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing various data tools to tell the story of the portfolio and provide actionable insights to improve performance and safely grow the portfolio. e.g. Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Power BI
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong partner or relationship, sales, collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to take a data driven approach towards identifying and prioritizing needs.
  • Capable of bringing simplicity and focus to complex and ambiguous concepts or situations.
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities with partners both internal and external to the organization.
  • Excellent communicator with solid written and verbal presentation skills
