As a Cyber Engineering Advisor supporting various customers, you will be trusted to support a team of professionals responsible for the review, development, and architecture of cyber engineering architecture services. The individual will provide direction for activities required to deliver secure solutions that support our customers .

In this role, a typical day will include the responsibilities below:

+ Provide research and development, technical, cyber governance, and implementation oversight of cyber engineering across multiple contracts

+ Participate in the development of technical project plans, technical proposals, and cyber engineering implementation

+ Review future project requirements and develops strategies for future work.

+ May also perform technical services on assigned tasks

+ Conduct planning and provides recommendations on project implementation to management and customers

+ Attend customer meetings and may serve as a primary liaison

+ Coordinate development of deliverables and products, as well as ensures the quality of the deliverables

+ Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

+ Participate in special projects as required

Required qualifications:

+ 8+ years of experience in cyber security and IT services

+ BA/BS degree in management information systems, computer science, engineering, business administration, related discipline, or equal experience.

+ Ability to achieve up to a DOD Top Secret Clearance, and program specific clearances

+ Experience in IT service delivery via KPIs, strategic planning, architecting new deployments, and recommending architectural changes to align with program requirements

+ Demonstrated experience evaluating security risk of applications, systems, and networks

+ Demonstrated experience engineering security solutions for large complex IT development effort involving both software and hardware

+ Demonstrated experience engineering and securing both on prem and cloud-based solutions

+ Demonstrated experience with customer information security process and polices

+ An understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

+ An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally or written, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner

+ A working knowledge of the following areas of technical expertise: cyber operations, cyber engineering, cyber intelligence, ITIL and IT Service Management, organizational change management, and IT financial management

+ Working knowledge of Defensive and Offensive Cyber Operations (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, etc.)

+ Subject Matter Expertise and hands on expertise with SIEM (ArcSight, Splunk preferred), Vulnerability Scanning (Tenable), End Point Protection (CrowdStrike/McAfee), and other security tools

Preferred qualifications:

+ Industry specific certifications such as CISSP, GCED, GPEN, Security+, etc.

+ Vendor specific certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin or Architect, ArcSight Certified Integrator/Administrator etc.
