Manager, Project Management - Product Operations

As a Manager-level Project Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority initiatives for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line and deliver value for our customers. Driving organizational change by owning and improving innovative, scalable systems and processes
Leading moderate to large complex initiatives and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports
Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Ensuring projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and elevate key decision-points
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Partnering cross-functionally with external stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Proactively taking ownership of initiatives, crafting a vision and driving results in an ambiguous environment
Coaching and developing a team of associates using a collaborative, empathetic leadership style
Utilizing excellent communication and partnership skills at all levels across the company to manage, inform and impact results
Influencing stakeholders to drive business- and customer-oriented outcomes
The person will:
Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to translate concepts into outcomes through structural frameworks
Demonstrate outstanding communication and influencing skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and impact outcomes
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
Display strong consulting and collaboration skills
Demonstrate competency in problem solving, breaking down large, complex projects into manageable bodies of work
Balance both attention to detail and a holistic understanding of the project
Think outside the box and drive a growing, new team forward through blank space
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience or at least 7 years of Project Management Experience
At least 1 Year of People Management experience
Masters of Business Administration
8+ years of Project Management experience
3+ years of People Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
