This individual will work with an integrated team of various technical and administrative Program Management support personnel to manage CM outcomes across a large project. Candidate will be responsible for executing and overseeing all aspects of program performance related to Change and Configuration Management activities.
Typical duties include:
+ Provide ISSO support for the configuration management and control of the functional, allocated, and product baselines for JETS Services, Systems, components, software and applications, in accordance with the guidance provided in SAE EIA- 649B and local plans/processes.
+ Develop, maintain, and oversee implementation of the Configuration Management Plan
+ Manage configuration identification, CM status accounting, CM reviews and audits.
+ Control system and software baselines, track system/hardware assets, and manage version and change control with emphasis on Change Request, Engineering Change Request and awareness and reporting over standard changes and OOC change approvals
+ Manage, administer, and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
+ Manage all deliverables including drawings, documents, and software and supporting deliverables.
+ Store and retrieve information to and from the CMDB, including establishing process activities and collection of metrics.
+ Manage the CM processes, toolsets, workflows, etc., to enable CM outcomes.
+ Ensure software tools and build environments used for design and programming are archived and controlled. Provide for official release management and communications to stakeholders and users.
+ Ensure problem reporting, tracking, and corrective actions occur for software changes and that changes to software baselines are reviewed, evaluated for impacts, and dispositioned.
+ Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor CM activities and administers subcontractor deliverables in support of JETS CM outcomes.
+ Develops, reviews, and approves CM plans, schedules, and other program documents.
+ Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
+ Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
+ Participates in special projects as required.
+ BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of Change and Configuration Management experience support large IT projects or weapons systems.
+ Must hold Certified Configuration Manager Professional Level III certification by the International Society of Configuration Management (ISCM), or equivalent
+ Strong leadership skills
+ Excellent oral and written communications skills.
+ Experience and training in Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Configuration Management processes desired.
+ Experience is preferably with electronics and software projects within major USAF or AFSOC programs (or DOD equivalent programs).
+ Must have effective organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
+ Must have experience or skills that demonstrate the ability to work as part of a large team using various forms of technology (i.e. phone, email, Skype, Zoom, etc).
+ Must be proficient with common productivity software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
