Finance & Procurement Analyst - Senior Associate

As a Finance & Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that Capital One makes sound purchasing decisions on all major deals. You will work closely with internal team members, internal business customers, and Capital One suppliers to deliver key cost and risk related efforts for third-party relationships and identify strategic opportunities for growth and/or greater return on investment.

Key responsibilities include:


Pricing analysis:deep dive into proposed pricing models, compare proposals between various suppliers or current state, and clearly articulate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders


Financial forecasting/modeling: provide volume forecasts to inform purchasing commitments, calculate total cost of ownership for specific suppliers or projects


Problem solving and strategic input: Provide problem-solving and innovative ideas to support internal customers. Identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth).


Reporting and process management: accurately and autonomously produce key monthly and quarterly reports around savings, deals, risk, spend, and other third-party related metrics; enhance reporting for clarity and efficiency on an ongoing basis


Basic Qualifications:


At least 1 year of experience in consulting or financial/procurement analysis


Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or in Finance


At least 2 years of experience in consulting or financial/procurement analysis


Strong experience in pricing analysis, capex analysis, and/or financial modeling
