Our client is currently looking to bring on an Accounts Payable Manager to their team. If you are looking to work for an estalbished company and have the opportunity to lead a team, this could be a great role for you.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plans and Manages the AP activities within the accounting department
  • Provide daily support in the resolution of problem invoices, escalate vendor payment issues as needed
  • Trains, motivates, and evaluates subordinates. Provide the A/P department with positive leadership. Effectively communicate with each employee their goals and provide them with feedback. Reinforce positive behavior
  • Issue 1099's
  • Assists with other accounting functions and special projects, as necessary

Communication Ability:

Demonstrate professional communications at all times with internal and external customers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Strong MS Office skills are necessary, in particular Excel and Outlook.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred, but not required
