Job Description

Ability to safely and properly deliver to patients the dose of ionizing radiation by means of external beam equipment prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist in accordance with all written instructions, photographs or diagrams concerning patient positioning, machine settings, auxiliary devices and special precautions. Expected to assist with quality assurance, dosimetry, simulation, and mold-room activities and responsible for maintaining a smooth, efficient and timely flow of all treatments.

Minimum Education and Experience: Minimum Preferred Education: Completion of formal Radiologic Technology Program. Experience: 1 Year Computer/Software Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in the wide use of word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics based computer software systems. Varis software, McKesson software. Licensure/Certification Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the field of Radiation Therapy Technology or have taken the examination in Radiation Therapy Technology of the ARRT, and passed that examination as determined by the ARRT. Certified in Delaware as a Radiation Therapy Technologist. BLS required. May also apply if you are ARRT Board Eligible and the State of Delaware certification is pending ARRT Registration.
