Provide strategic market and competitive insights and analytic support to key Lumen stakeholders. Understand relevant trends within the business and manage multiple research projects in tandem.
The Main Responsibilities
Strategic Support – Develop and communicate high quality, accurate, timely and simplified market and competitive insights and analytics to assist executive management and business units in their decision-making processes.
Effectively Leverage Analyst and Industry Reporting – Leverage Lumen’s existing relationships with industry leading analysts to provide concise insights into market and competitive trends. Identify opportunities and threats from disruptive technologies and proactively communicate these insights with business partners.
Serves as primary project manager in assisting with the development business cases spanning multiple departments and objectives (e.g Revenue growth and cost efficiency).
Proactively studies market trending relative to Lumen position and performance through data analytics, primary/secondary research and market visits and make recommendations for improved revenue generation. Proactively identifies opportunities to generate/grow/maintain revenue and cut costs by identifying potential new markets, monitoring customer shifts and purchasing patterns.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Masters in Business Administration or functional equivalent/experience in Telecommunications industry.
5+ years Professional/management experience.
Experience presenting to senior audiences.
Experience producing and consuming strategic market research and analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
Understanding of the telecommunications industry and key drivers.
Experience with large, distributed work environments.
