Work under the direction of the Project Manager. Responsible for oversight and coordinating management of a Food Service. Plan and manage operations defining objectives, methods, timetables, and recommending changes as needed.

Oversee the Supervisor-Cafeteria Zone, Janitors and Food Service Workers to ensure Performance Work Standard requirements are met.
Monitor day-to-day operational activities performed by ServiceSource food service management and food service workers provide positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate for performance improvements.
Perform inspections and/or operational audits to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance- eliminating inefficiencies or unnecessary work and reducing operating expenses where feasible.
Communicate with contract personnel on all routine matters pertinent to contractual obligations.
Implement quality improvement to establish and maintain a safe work environment.
Conduct weekly meeting with supervisors to ensure all safety goals and objectives are being met.
Ensure that allocated hours for staff are maintained in accordance with contract requirements.
Work with the rehab staff in regard to performance issues and come up with a solution.
Write employees counseling reports as needed.
Provide input pertaining to employee goals.
Ensure that timely and accurate reports necessary for operation of the dining facilities and contract requirements are maintained and submitted.
Maintain accurate records and files according to contract/company standards.
Maintain open communication with contract representatives and corporate personnel.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must have 3 years' experience working in a large food service operation providing cafeteria style or multi-entree operation providing complete meal service (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) required. Military food experience in a pay grade of E-7 or above may be credited as management experience.
Must have 3 years' experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager required.
Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation to perform work-related travel required. Eligible drivers must have a good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and use Excel to track and share operational status and results.
Provide excellent customer service.
Well-organized and self-directed team player.
Ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software required.
