The Wilmington Emergency Department Clerk/Registrar serves in a vital role, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the department. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: promoting patient, physician, and staff satisfaction through proactive administrative services, performing functions of receptionist, registrar, data entry clerk, order entry clerk, and be the liaison to ancillary departments. This position is located in our Wilmington Hospital. A Wilmington landmark since 1890, our fully modernized Wilmington Hospital serves and provides ChristianaCare's distinguished, high-quality health care in the heart of Wilmington. Education & Experience Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
2 years of experience in a medical office or hospital environment in similar role is strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills with experience in Outlook (scheduling and e-mail).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Exemplary prioritization and organization skills.
Hours: This is a Full Time Flex position scheduled for 40 hours per pay, Day/Evening schedule of 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 3:30p.m. - Midnight. This position requires a commitment to every other weekend and three holidays per year.
