The project manager implements strategic innovation projects throughout the ChristianaCare enterprise. This position will plan, direct, control and implement solutions that leverage partnerships, data, and technology to create and apply new business models, helping ChristianaCare drive value and reduce the cost of care.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages projects within the Applied Innovation Group to desired targets to drive business/clinical benefit
Develops and maintains effective lines of communication and relationships with leaders and staff
Provides status updates related to the areas of responsibility and ensures communications are consistent and coordinated
Works with resource managers to ensure project performance and limit or mitigate project risks
Manages project team within a matrixed environment
Works with internal and external partners within scope of project-specific work
Tracks budget for specific projects
Performs other duties as required to support the growth and performance of the Applied Innovation Group
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of project/resource management experience
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a related discipline
