Responsible for developing and maintaining Incyte's high performance computing infrastructure. Explore new technology platforms, develop next generation sequencing (NGS) pipelines for internal use, and collaborate with internal and external investigators. Bridge knowledge among scientists for Biology and Computer Science and develop tools and databases to support clinical pipelines, with the goal of finding better solutions to determine the right drug for each candidate (personal medicine). Develop and maintain internal and cloud-based high-performance computing and storage infrastructure. Develop and update big data analysis such as next generation sequencing tools to support various on-going clinical trials in Amazon cloud system. Develop and maintain next generation sequencing pipelines for bioinformatics group use. Develop and maintain innovative prediction tools to support Translational Group and Early Discovery Division for target research discovery and biomarker study. Implement and develop web servers, databases, and tools to support scientific projects and the company's portfolios. Provide scientific expertise on high performance computing in evaluating latest technologies that improve and optimize computing systems. Develop databases and tools to support antibody drug discovery and antibody engineering.
