Tasks will consist of:
+ Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
+ Collaborate with estimators during pre-construction and procurement to develop cost estimates, scopes of work, procure bids, and de-scope subcontractors
+ Perform constructability reviews
+ Prepare all project documentation including project reports, schedules, and budgets
+ Maintain project budget, cost control, and change management with open lines of communication with owners and subcontractors
+ Lead construction project team meetings
+ Prepare project schedules and oversee progress to meet deadlines
+ Develop project logistics plans, quality control and safety plans in collaboration with field superintendents
+ Communicate with field superintendents to ensure timely project progressMinimum Qualifications:
+ B.S. degree in engineering, construction management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree
+ 7+ years of experience in project management in the design and construction industry or an equivalent combination of education/experience
+ Experience in Bio-Pharma industries.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Strong financial and contract management skills.
+ Ability to work effectively amongst project stakeholders independently and with minimal supervision.
+ Strong computer skills, proficient with MS office applications.
+ Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
+ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and progressive in scope.
+ Physical Demands: Performance of the duties may require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, walk distances, climb ladders and otherwise negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear (bells, whistles, etc.), stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
+ Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee works on-site at the construction worksite where the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in this work environment is usually moderate to very loud. May perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
