Platform Engineer (Varicent)
We are seeking a highly creative and intellectually curious Platform Engineer to be instrumental in contributing to Capital One's Human Resources tools and infrastructure. In this role, you will work independently and collaborate across multiple teams to accomplish organizational goals. You will be part of a team that specializes in building and maintaining systems that enable Capital One's internal associates to become more productive and achieve their personal and professional goals. As part of an HR Tech team that's leading the next wave of technology modernization, you will play an integral part in advancing Capital One's engineering and operational excellence.
The person we are looking for:
Ability to create solutions on the Incentive Compensation platform via configuration
Adept at performing business analysis and problem solving and has ability to think through problems creatively
Ability to integrate disparate systems with Varicent
Ensure Varicent best practices are followed during development of Incentive Compensation solutions
Has a strong sense of ownership and takes pride in everything delivered
Has a sense of intellectual curiosity and a burning desire to learn
Is self-driven, actively looking for ways to contribute, and knows how to get things done
Isn't afraid to innovate and challenge the status quo
Has great communication and problem solving capabilities
Values the team over self
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in Incentive Compensation Modeling using Varicent
At least 2 years of experience with Sales Performance Management Platform services using Varicent
At least 2 years of experience using SQL Server
3+ years of experience in Incentive Compensation Modeling using Varicent
3+ years of experience with Sales Performance Management Platform services using Varicent
3+ years of experience using SQL Server
2+ years of experience working in Agile environment
