Job Description

The Team:

At ICF, our Senior Business Analysts work on a wide variety of different programs to support diverse customer mission areas. We build solutions that support citizen services – such as systems that help detect fraud, waste, and abuse across federal programs, systems that help facilitate wireless spectrum auctions, and systems that support citizen engagement with regulatory and rulemaking processes.?We also support new and novel employee services across our portfolio – such as improving employee’s access to HR functions, our customer’s business management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities, as well as core service and operations management needs of business users.

The Work:

ICF’s IT Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven department, seeking a motivated Senior Business Analyst to support an implementation team for an upcoming need. The Business Analyst should have a strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53 and experience as an assessor, working with software development teams, that can also think outside the box.

Position Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ 3+ years experience as a Business or Security Analyst in a fast-paced application development environment

+ 3+ years experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand system requirements

+ 3+ years of experience with NIST Risk Management Frameworks, Core Cyber Security and Cloud technologies – standard IaaS/PaaS/SaaS solutions.

+ 2+ years of experience supporting multiple software development activities: Documentation, Governance, Security Risk Assessments, Authority-to-Operate (ATO) and Audit/Compliance.

+ Support generation of written contractual deliverables as directed by the Program Manager (ex: Security Assessment & Authorization package)

+ Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance

Desired Skills:

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Agile or Scrum certification

+ Familiarity with FISMA and FedRAMP is a plus

+ Solid understanding of various software development cycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.); knowledge of requirements management, configuration management methodologies, along with corresponding support tools, i.e., JIRA, etc.

+ Basic knowledge of the ServiceNow platform

+ Experience on teams implementing integrations is a plus

+ Experience with business process modeling and the use of project management software

+ Able to work independently or with a remote team

+ Ability to work well under changing deadlines and priorities
