A Day in the Life: Learning and Development Specialist
Do you have a desire to facilitate learning and help others expand their knowledge and skillsets? Trinity is looking for its next Learning and Development Specialist, and it could be you! In this role, you will work collaboratively with company leaders, subject-matter experts, and the Director of Education to design, develop, evaluate, manage, and implement new, exciting and effective learning solutions. You will not only be hands on in designing and developing these programs, but you will also engage in the role of instructor by facilitating regularly scheduled classroom and virtual based training. The successful candidate will be a strong collaborator while also demonstrating the ability to work independently once work is assigned and make sound, problem-solving decisions. Being highly organized, creative and Tech savvy is also a plus. Job Requirements: Is This You?
Successfully acquire their Training Delivery certification within 1 year of their start date through the Association of Talent Development (ATD).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to produce clearly written learning materials and articulate key concepts in a clear manner.
Ability to consult with Management and lead Subject Matter Experts.
Ability to work independently with little oversight once the work is assigned.
Use computers and software at a proficient to advanced level. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, identify and quantify problems, provide effective resolutions and appropriately role model the culture and norms of the organization.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail with excellent organization and project management skills to include the identification of key stakeholders, development and implementation of a plan. Can cite examples of organization and time management/methods used to manage or prioritize workload demands.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Teams and with a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred.
Strong program management skills essential.
