Our Summit Technical Account Executives are Technical Sales Strategists, with deep sales, product, and industry expertise. They proactively work hand in hand with the accounts and internal extended teams to develop sales strategies, execute on new revenue, support adoption of existing solutions, and positioning new solutions that address customer needs aligning with their enterprise vision. The Technical Sales Account Executive will work with the senior technical leadership at our Summit Accounts to challenge the status quo, ensure delivery of the full Customer 360 and drive additional investments.
This role will interact primarily with Health Insurance customers and will require polished Executive communication skills and the ability to deliver dynamic software demonstrations with confidence. This role requires experience with deals of all sizes and comfort interacting with levels ranging from individual contributors to C-levels at Summit Payer accounts.
These team members will be required to skillfully read a room, confidently engage with key decision-makers and speak compellingly to our value in the language of the audience.
5-10 years of software consulting, preferably in Insurance or Health Insurance
Shown success as a sales consultant at other software companies or consultancies
Shown Success as a sales representative with validated quota achievement
Industry experience in Health Insurance and Health Providers is strongly preferred
Experience working in a fast-moving, agile company and sales team
Experience configuring or administering Salesforce technology
Responsibilities & Expectations
Understand customer needs through detailed discovery of their industry processes.
Proactively research and develop technical Points of View in alignment with Industry knowledge and understanding of the Account's enterprise vision/mission.
Work closely with the Sales and Solution Engineering leadership to generate opportunities
Ability to deliver relevant demonstrations
Support to adoption and utilizing of existing Salesforce technology within accounts
Provide customer feedback to the product management and engineering teams to collect new customer requirements and improvements

Contribute to a roll-up-the-sleeves, positive, high-performance culture
Develop technical peer relationships in key accounts
Strong understanding of executive engagement, sales strategies, team dynamics, and sophisticated, multi-resource projects
Configuring and presenting software demonstrations that are both functionally compelling and relevant to the specific business processes of the customer
Expert knowledge of the complete sales lifecycle with extensive experience responding to sales RFIs / RFPs and configuring software demos at very high levels of quality
Excellent leadership, presentation and collaboration skills
Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field, and/or equivalent experience
