Organization Description

Party Reference Data is responsible for timely and accurate completion of reference static data setup and maintenance across various LOBs and locations in Party Central system.

Job Description

Reference Data Operations Associate will be responsible for creating and maintaining party reference data, managing stakeholders across businesses and ensuring data quality standards are met in various systems.

Responsibilities

+ Work closely with all stakeholders including business leads, technology, and various Lines of Businesses; aiming to leverage best practice across the industry and JPMC Firmwide Data Quality standards to establish the successful Data Quality Operational model.

+ Process request for party set up on various client systems

+ Monitor failure queues, mailboxes and databases to ensure all items are cleared in a timely manner (same day)

+ Modify customer information based on daily maintenance requests (address, tax identification number)

+ Proactively communicate with Wholesale Bank and other line of business requesters to ensure creations and data amendments meet minimum standards

+ Verify that corrections and modifications in data are fed to various systems

+ Query various processing systems to ensure duplicate client accounts are not created and/or maintained

+ Analyze and maintain all customer matches within a set of client identifiers and combine customers when necessary

+ Create and maintain procedure documents and help drive control-centric environment

+ Assist with training documents and training staff on new and revised processes

+ Participate in UAT testing, pass/fail reporting, raising and tracking of defects and resolution

+ Co-ordinate with business process stakeholders to ensure that proper business context and impact are considered in discussions regarding specific data elements.

+ Serve as primary contact point in supporting resolution of issues for our business users

+ Ensure adherence to all service level commitments, controls and escalation policies.

+ Demonstrate customer focus and strong follow-up skills.

Experience and Qualification

+ 3 to 5 years of Operations with products, systems and credit

+ Proficient in MS-Office suite of products.

+ Bachelor degree with preference in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.

+ Ability to learn and use multiple, complex databases and systems in a relatively short timeframe

+ Strong client focus and relationship-building skills across lines of business and levels

+ Demonstrated attention to detail

+ Able to communicate articulately, both written and verbally, to all levels of staff and management, and influence and support decisions

+ Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

+ Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

+ Ability to recognize and appropriately escalate issues and discrepancies

+ Strong analytical ability

+ Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

Working Hours

+ The incumbent will be required to operate flexible working hours (typically 12 PM to 9 PM shift schedule) to cover late starts and/or late finishes, as well as, weekend Production releases activities to support our business partners.
