Job Description


Conveyor Maintenance Technician is responsible for the continuous operation of the distribution center automation systems.

• Responsible for ensuring conveyer system is safe, efficient, and operational 100% of warehouse hours.

• Understands all systems and components both mechanical and electrical.

• Understands all hardware components and software applications.

• Proactively perform all preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule.

• Cleaning and housekeeping of all conveyor system parts and areas including the conveyor itself, the spare parts shelves, toolboxes, and workbench area.

• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair conveyer.

• Resolve issues efficiently ensuring minimal downtime.

• Ensure tool inventory is kept at 100%.

• Maintenance of any software programs related to this position.

• Updating Preventative Maintenance procedures and spare parts inventories etc.

• Training of all warehouse personnel regarding safety and care of the conveyor system as it pertains to their position.

• Scheduling and/or reporting of all maintenance needed or done with the Warehouse Operations Manager.

• Any low-level non-conveyor mechanical work needed by the company when time allows and as assigned by the Warehouse Operations Manager.
