This role is based in the US Headquarters in Wilmington Delaware area, reporting to the Director Global Projects Commercial Manufacturing, who is based in EU Headquarters in Morges Switzerland.
The Sr. Manager plays a key role for driving and monitoring key projects, in Technical operations group, for the large and small molecules launch activities. The incumbent coordinates project teams, to ensure product launches are executed on time, but also in the timely manner, delivery of reports enabling appropriate course of action while providing progress' visibility of projects to the entire department. The incumbent has a global exposure and requires strong project management capabilities, and pharmaceutical understanding in manufacturing and distribution activities.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
In charge of projects for New Product Introduction activities (US), and Market extension programs for Americas regions.
Management of cross-functional team (internal and external) for new small /larges molecules launches readiness.
In charge of Technical operation readiness for process transfer activities.
Management of cross-functional team (internal and external) for technical transfer during lifecycle of marketed product.
In charge of project and/or project follow-up linked to future commercial manufacturing expansion strategy as:
Identify partners to support growth of the global manufacturing entity, by preparing, collecting, analyzing and making recommendation related to RFPs, in collaboration with supply department.
Maintain and update status reports assuring alignment of all the teams.
Act as representative person during Global steering committee forum to escalate projects status and risks associated.
Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics.
Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline.
Experience in managing diverse & virtual teams globally.
Extensive experience in working with cross functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent project management skill.
Have cross functional view of Pharmaceutical Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain activities for US and Americas regions.
Leadership; ability to build trust and create collaborative environment and relationships.
