•Conducts complex financial analysis and forecasting for new prospect and existing CCUL products and partnerships working closely with business development and LOB.
•Expert on complete Income Statement for CCUL products, programs, or business verticals with insight to components that have greater complexity (e.g., Expenses, Revenue, Volumes and their underlying drivers).
•Develops Ad-hoc financial model for special business cases for new products or partner promotions, leveraging multiple data sources and extrapolating where necessary.
•Works with large data sets to create KPI’s (key performance indicators) necessary to explain product behaviors.
•Creates and improves specialized analytical tools for projects or ongoing use to determine plan/partner/portfolio level profitability as well as lifetime values.
•Manage competing priorities and make optimal decisions based on business priorities and objectives.
•Develops presentations for different target groups, explaining complex concepts in a simple and clear way.
•Passionate to innovate and design new processes to meet evolving requirements from management and partners

Business Line Financial Manager I – candidate will have an exciting opportunity to join US Finance Decision Sciences team. Candidate will be supporting Private Label and Installment segment (Buy Now Pay Later) of the Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending (CCUL) business. This role exposes candidate to a variety of highly specialized financial tasks spanning from new deal modelling, partnership renewals, deal performance deep dives, product pricing and financial analysis. In addition, the candidate will be required to interact daily and build relationships with various teams within CCUL and the bank. Role requires candidate to be creative, innovative, have ability to learn and apply skills and new knowledge in improving existing and designing new processes and tools.

•Bachelors degree required, with preferred concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Business
•3+ years related experience
•Understanding of banking industry financial analysis, planning, reporting and management accounting practices for assigned line of business
•Excellent financial analysis skills, including ability to draw appropriate conclusions from large amounts of financial data
•Understanding of related technology requirements and needs, including financial systems, planning models and report writers
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present and explain information clearly
These are the preferred qualifications:
•In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, financial model-building and interpretive statistics with strong technical skills
•Ability to employ complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business performance information.
•Capable of independently planning, developing, leading, and executing analytics projects with limited guidance.
•Able to effectively interpret information, select appropriate techniques, take independent action, and communicate findings & recommendations to achieve objectives.
•Strong interpersonal and consultative skills with well-developed communication and presentation abilities necessary for influencing and negotiating with various partners in organization.
•Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills, financial services experience, data modeling and query expertise: SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau; experience with Credit Cards a plus
