The Food Service Associate performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food to customers. Employees are expected to maintain high level of departmental sanitation including dishwashing, pot-washing, and cleaning according to policies and procedures. May be required to operate cash register and assist with catering services .Minimum/Preferred Qualifications: REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma/GED/equivalent certification required. Experience: Must have some knowledge of food service operations. Must have demonstrated work history. Prior cash handling experience required for front of house retail operations only (not required for back of house operations).
+ Preferred: Prior food service experience in preparing or packaging food and/or serving food products, prior cash handling as well as a history of working with the public preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong customer service skills, basic computer literacy, food safety training, HACCP training and proper hand washing skills. Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Additional Information: This position requires availability to work variable shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 7:30pm (day/evening shift), including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
