Job Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a SCO Operator - Production Line for our Client located in Newark, DE.

System Control Operator (SCO) operates a complete production line or production sequence, by monitoring and steering all relevant production processes and parameters for a defined sector of production, in a control room environment.

Sets up and controls production program

Sets up production parameter and executes necessary checks.

Constantly controls operations and monitors process results, acts according to contingency plans in case of deviations.

Makes predefined and specialized quality checks

Contributes in judgment on production results.

Engages and coordinates maintenance staff for repair and maintenance issues.

Advices directly related manufacturing staff.

 

Pay and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $16.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).

 

 

Required Skills / Qualifications:

High school or GED

Minimum of 2 years' experience in SCO Operator - Production Line

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

In Production: Operates a defined number of related specialized machines and equipment, which may include prescribed CNC programming (i.e. setting parameter) to set up the machines for production program.

In Assembly: Incumbent needs to have certain degree of theoretical knowledge and procedural understanding to operate in qualified assembly processes, which includes effective usage of a number of tools and machines during assembly process.

Assembly process however still repetitive and routine.

Vocational training + up to 1-year experience needed

Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines and skills in the related field of work, gained through structured and focused two-year vocational training period.
