Job Description

As Product Owner for the tools that enable Product Teams for Global Technology, you will serve as the product owner for driving the strategic vision and direction for their Product Owner Tooling Products. You will act as the voice of the customer and be accountable for achieving the business outcomes for the product set. You will be a domain experts in how Product Teams work and be passionate about the customers you serve. They will synthesize market trends, customer needs and JP’s strategic goals into a vision and roadmap for their product. You will realise the product’s vision by using intent-based leadership to empower high performing, self-directed teams to deliver effectively. Data and metrics are key to you success for assesses of product performance against business objectives.

You will work with individual teams, a whole product or product line. You will work as a leadership trio with Engineering and Design to provide technical and customer-centric requirements respectively.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

+ Overseeing the product lifecycle from concept to sunset, including building business strategies, performance objectives and outcome based roadmaps

+ Working collaboratively with Engineering Leads, Design Teams and Customer Success teams to ensure roadmaps strike the right balance between business outcomes, customer needs, technology enablement and adoption

+ Managing the end to end product performance, including financial, risk, operations and business performance

+ Advocating for, and deeply understanding, the needs of the product’s customers

+ Inspiring teams to build services and technologies that will be the backbone of technology at JPMC

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:

+ MS/MBA degree or equivalent experience

+ At least 15+ years relevant work in product and agile transformation

+ At least 15+ years’ experience in product management processes

+ A strong understanding of Agile methods in a large enterprise

+ Strong market intelligence and customer orientation background

+ Strong leadership and organizational skills focused on transformation of tooling ecosystem
