Job Description

The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all Bayhealth plumbing systems and fixtures.

Minimum Education and Experience Minimum Preferred Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification. Completion of plumbing apprenticeship program. Experience: Two years plumbing journeyman training and related work experience. Four years working experience in the plumbing trade with ability to read blueprints. Previous experience in estimating time and material costs to start and complete construction projects. Licensure and Certification: Due to insurance carrier requirements, all staff must be at least 21 years of age with a current class D driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years. State of Delaware journeyman license Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities · Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking English · Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local plumbing codes, standards and regulations. · Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials common to the plumbing trade. · Ability to install and solder copper piping. · (Preferred) Basic computer skills To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
