As a representative in this area, your duties will include receiving inbound and outbound calls and solving /educating customers on specific account information, concerns and inquiries to make it as easy and as possible to do business with and resolve their delinquency. The team assists our card members with the resolution of their past due status through contact by phone, e-mail or through our website. Significant effort is placed on the ensuring an exceptional experience when we interact with our customers. The BFA representatives support Barclays customers across the US and non-traditional shifts may be anticipated (i.e. non-standard business hours or weekends). We offer a competitive salary starting at $35,000, monthly/quarterly incentives, as well as a 401k benefit. What will you be doing? • You will receive inbound and make outbound phone calls from customers, servicing their needs effectively and efficiently. • You will work with customers to offer payment programs and solve account problems. • Quickly understand and analyze customer needs by actively listening and establishing rapport • Use computer software application to properly service customers’ accounts • You will take ownership of any follow-up work necessary to service customer and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks • Speak/write knowledgably about products and services • You will adhere to all compliance regulations and security policies What we’re looking for: • Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent • 1 years’ experience in collections or customer service Skills that will help you in the role: • 1+ years of Banking or credit card experience • Advanced degree (preferred – not required) • Strong PC skills and internet skills Where will you be working?
