About this position :

The Social Media Senior Associate will develop and manage the content strategy across social and other owned channels for the Sapphire credit card products. This position sits within the Chase Branded Cards organization of Card Services, a key business within Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking group.


This role will manage existing agencies on the development and execution of a cross-channel content calendar, ensuring content ladders up to the broader brand strategy. They will be responsible for securing brand, social media, and legal approvals for content, and will coordinate with the social media and customer service teams on content posting, community management, servicing, and content measurement. This role will also source net-new content agencies to help bring new thinking to the brand and our content approach, building a robust pipeline of engaging content that continues to push our evolution. They will partner with other Sapphire marketing team members to implement the broader content strategy into existing placements and owned channels.


- Bachelor’s Degree required

- 3+ years of relevant work experience

- At least 1 year of experience in a social media role is strongly desired

+ Translate high-level brand goals into high-impact, engaging content plan and assets

+ Balance strategic thinking on overall plan with detail orientation on execution

+ Collaborate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, while building strong relationships and being a team player

+ Work independently on relatively open-ended tasks, being willing to build strategy from the ground up

+ Effectively and efficiently manage external agencies

+ Function well in a social media forward role, willing to keep up with fast-paced evolution of social media trends and best practices
