Job Summary (Primary function)

The HFM Solutions Architect is responsible for maintaining and supporting the HFM and FDMEE applications and plays a key role in the development and deployment of future application enhancements and the global consolidation processes. The HFM Solutions Architect partners with outside consultants and internal stakeholders to help architect and structure the development of the financial reporting system to meet both the compliance and business intelligence needs of the Company. The incumbent provides critical consolidation support in the financial reporting needs of the Company and requires a strong knowledge of international financial statement consolidations.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

Administer the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE) environment.

Administer Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) processes.

Facilitate daily administration of Oracle EPM environment as well as ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.

Manage and Optimize application and business rule performance based on the need.

Enable Month-End Closing process via HFM & FDMEE, support financial submissions for all locations, including final validations.

Capture metrics and ensure the application environment performs consistently within defined SLA's.

Manage financial reports and maintain the reports using Financial Reporting Studio.

Interact with Business Users and understand the requirements for Enhancements and New Projects.

Capture requirements, design, configure, develop, and test HFM enhancements and projects. Facilitate end user testing & training. Work closely with users to close any gaps.

Prepare documentation where necessary, including requirements documents, design documentation, SOP's, training, process flows and system structure.

Understanding and awareness of Hyperion Foundation and Hyperion Planning applications for support of lower environments and data load process.

Troubleshoot any data and application related issues. Assess and Support all Hyperion Suite applications. Execute strong troubleshooting skills to research issues, then provide solutions and communicate concisely.

Provide expertise and participate in infrastructure planning and updates to optimize performance and maintain supported versions.

Coordinate with Hyperion Admin team regarding user access, role definition, and security.

Extend Support of Hyperion Suite of Applications during emergency.

Utilize best practices and knowledge of internal and external business processes to support and enhance Hyperion applications.

Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business requirements and solution capabilities to provide technical solutions while adhering to IT development standards, the IT Change Control process, and all SOX/Audit requirements and requests.

Perform required configuration and testing in HFM for new legal entity rollouts.

Implement Master Data changes in HFM module as required.

Create and maintain HFM Consolidation Rules.

Monitor and resolve ERP system to HFM interface job failures.

Design and develop new reports and make changes to existing financial reports based on business needs.

Support month end close activities (allocations, translation, consolidations, etc.).

Perform HFM application validation during major application upgrades and monthly infrastructure updates and patching.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

7+ years of experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE), and Hyperion Suite Administration software tools.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Implementation experience with Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) is preferred.

Experience in Hyperion Planning/PBCS(Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services) /EPBCS is a plus.
