The Director of Housing Finance (DHF) is responsible for overseeing the statewide operations of
the Housing Finance Section, including: the Single Family Mortgage Programs, down payment
and settlement assistance, foreclosure prevention such as the Delaware Emergency Mortgage
Assistance Program, the Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Bond Program, and related activities.
Additionally, the incumbent oversees operations for statewide homeownership, rehabilitation, and
foreclosure prevention products and resources. The Director of Housing Finance serves as the
primary liaison to members of the investment community, bond underwriters, counsel, financial
advisors, lenders, and housing partners. The DHF reviews economic, legislative, and housing data
and works closely with housing partners to identify needs, make recommendations, and implement
financing options, program changes, and product development. The incumbent supervises a staff
of up to 14.
