Kforce’s client, one of the world’s largest financial institutions, is building multiple Full Stack Java Scrum Teams in Wilmington (DE), Plano (TX), Tampa (FL), Jersey City (NJ) and Columbus (OH). This posting is for 3 junior roles for a 2 year Java Spring Developers in Wilmington, DE – Philadelphia area. This may lead to fulltime opportunity with client.Summary:As a Java Spring Spring-Boot Engineer, you will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will perform full life cycle design and development for the Platforms Applications. The position will assume ownership of the coding standards, code review process, source code management, and continuous integration process for the team.Duties: * Developers will evaluate project requests to provide sizing estimates * Provide conceptual solutions and application architecture strategies * Assist business partners with requirements definition * As a Developers, you will assist business analysts with functional designs * Create technical designs * Perform hands-on development for defects and new functionalities * Assist and guide junior developers with build phase activities * Assist with defect resolution during system testing and user acceptance testing * Developers create implementation plans and back out plans * Oversee implementations and post-implementation support phases * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent * Solid Java Spring and design techniques with some experience in large environments * 2 years of software development using Java, J2EE, XML, MQ/Kafka/messaging and used Java frameworks – Spring/Spring-boot, Hibernate, REST * Experience and understanding of Cloud Development and Deployment is a plus * Knowledgeable in RESTful micro services with technical stack such as Cassandra and Kafka is a plus and will be learned * You will be working with Maven, Jules pipelines and Jenkins tools to build and deploy code deployment to production environments * You’ll be exposed with Source Code management techniques/tools * Experience with software development lifecycle * Exposure/knowledge of an agile development environment * You’ll be working on high throughput mission critical platforms * Strong debugging & technical troubleshooting skills; Knowledge of code testing techniques * Nice to have: Payment industry experience Can you picture yourself working for one of America’s Ideal Employers?
