Job Summary (Primary function)
The Sr. Manager, Digital Operations is part of the Advanced Analytics & Strategic Customer Engagement Team within the US Business Unit and reports to the Associate Director, Digital Operations. The Sr. Manager supports the dermatology franchise, collaborates with assigned brands, and contributes to multichannel strategy development with a primary focus on optimizing project management and tactical pull through of the multichannel campaign strategies. The Sr. Manager works closely with the Associate Director, brand leads, advanced analytics, and multichannel strategy to monitor execution of brands' integrated multichannel plans. Digital Operations plays a pivotal role in campaign planning, business requirements documentation, project management, and MCE content readiness and pull through.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
Support the DERM business in its efforts to implement integrated multichannel engagement (MCE).
Create a partnership with digital platform partner consultants.
Manage all aspects of digital tactics delivery to make sure timeliness, accuracy and budgets are met for all projects.
Ensure approach and requirements for multichannel tactical plans are understood and interpreted appropriately to ensure quality delivery and execution.
Plan, coordinate, communicate status, and manage all campaign tasks with the supporting team.
Oversight of email setup and deployment on marketing automation platform, in coordination with product strategy and advanced analytics.
Ensure quality assurance for campaign and all tagging requirements.
Assist with monitoring campaign performance and outputs to provide timely recommendations back to the Associate Director and key brand team members to facilitate MCE optimization.
Primary point of contact for digital platform partners for tactical campaign pull through and BRD execution.
Build in-depth understanding of multiple customer engagement channels across HCP, consumer, patient, and payer channels. Focus on increasing channel effectiveness and cross channel integration; with specific emphasis on how the channels can be highly integrated to deliver cross-channel customer journeys.
Work with Advanced Analytics to ensure pull-through of reports & ongoing measurement effectiveness of campaign.
Where relevant, support website transition to new digital partner(s) and timely delivery of all web properties to the product strategy teams.
Establish strong business acumen by building and maintaining disease, market, and product knowledge including clear understanding of brand objectives, goals, campaigns, messages and strategies.
Champion an integrated multichannel tactical plan that is aligned to business objectives, maximizes brand relevance and value.
Review standard KPI reports to monitor performance of campaigns / tactics.
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
Bachelor's degree is required.
5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical industry. (Dermatology experience preferred.)
In-depth understanding of multichannel strategies and tactics.
In-depth understanding of marketing channels and the manner in which each enhances customer relationships.
Strong planning, project management and organization skills.
Strong understanding of end-to-end strategic marketing of pharmaceutical products.
Strong understanding of regulations involved with digital marketing pharmaceutical products.
Understanding of existing MCE platforms and support capabilities with ability to articulate potential usages and limitations to the brands.
Demonstrated experience supporting integrated multi-channel marketing strategy for new and existing commercial products.
Strong understanding of marketing trends and innovations.
Strong understand of web applications, asset management, and tagging.
Must have a working knowledge of Multi-Channel and Digital Marketing.
