The Global Technology Strategic Programs (GTSP) Team is accountable for active portfolio oversight across GT’s Significant Programs, and is empowered with designing appropriate controls & processes across all Tech delivery investments to minimize delivery risk. Within GTSP, the Transformation & Management function is accountable for ensuring the team operates effectively and efficiently against a clear vision and roadmap and providing solutions which enable continuous improvement, support the adoption of strategic toolsets and drive efficiency & enhancements in how we operate to get to data-driven and actionable insights.
As an Analytics Solutions Associate your role will be to interface with internal clients to source ideas around enhanced automation and dashboard opportunities, run functional and technical feasibility analyses, translate ideas into use cases, and partner with Technology to deliver tangible solutions to remediate functional friction points/ gaps and deliver solutions that will provide data driven insights.
+ Own the requirements gathering, development, testing, and maintenance of process automation solutions primarily using tools like Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL
+ Work closely with business users to capture and translate business requirements into technical requirements
+ Manage initiatives by tracking and monitoring progress, risks, and issues; be able to report on status and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful project completion
+ Create executive-level reporting and status updates for clients and senior management.
+ Partner with peers on the team to provide planning and implementation support
+ Support various ad-hoc activities
Skills & Experience:
+ Demonstrate knowledge and experience of BIS, MIS, computer science, or another quantitative field.
+ Must have demonstrated knowledge of one or more data & business intelligence concepts including ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting Automation, and/or Dashboarding
+ Must be exceptional with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau (Data Visualization), Alteryx (Data Wrangling), Xceptor (Data Wrangling & Straight Through Processing)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity and desire to work both at a strategic and detailed analysis level
+ Experience with JIRA and Agile processes is preferred
+ Detail oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately, on a timely basis, and in a presentable manner
+ Confident and personable attitude with the ability to face off with senior management at all levels, influence/handle difficult messages, problem solve, and resolve conflicts
+ Individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team situation
+ Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask/ pivot to handle competing priorities under pressure
+ Self-motivated individual to go beyond immediate responsibilities
+ Must possess professional maturity, intellectual curiosity, high integrity
+ 2 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, data management, and visualization concepts in a business environment required, with:
+ 1+ year with visualization tools. Tableau a plus
+ 1+ year with data wrangling tools. Alteryx a plus
+ 1+ year with database tools and SQL. Oracle a plus
