Job Description

Barclays Bank Delaware seeks an AVP, Digital Capabilities for its 125 S. West Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 location.

Duties: Launch new customer facing digital capabilities. Collaborate with project teams and agile development groups in planning project steps and assessing business implications for each stage.  Drive projects forward across all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through designing, building, and testing. Define UX/UI strategies across a wide range of customer journeys. Drive implementation of major components of the digital innovation agenda. Facilitate design alignment on new product benefits presentment and delivery opportunities and navigate the project process to deliver. Lead major Digital cost savings initiatives to boost digital payment percentage and paperless enrolment. Interact directly with the Digital Consumer Bank, Partnership and Technology and interact directly with customer care, corporate communications, and project management resources to deliver and manage change. Closely collaborate with technical development resources, performance engineering, information security, quality assurance and others to ensure that features are delivered with quality and minimal risk.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance or closely related areas of Business, Finance, Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Marketing or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst or Quality Assurance in the fields of digital marketing, digital analytics or financial services. Must have 5 years of experience with: Identifying potential points of friction in the customer experience using Adobe Omniture and use IBM Tealeaf to replay customer sessions and investigate escalated complaints; Collaborating with Customer Experience Team to release new features; Collaborating with technical development resources, performance engineering, information security, and quality assurance to ensure that delivered features meet outlined standards; Guiding development and business teams to impact KPI (key Performance Indicators) – Digital Active Rates and Call Reduction; and Implementing industry best practices, presenting new ideas, and sharing progress achieved. 40 hrs/wk.
