The Hartford is looking for a innovative PEGA Tech Lead to join our Enterprise Contact Center and Digital Enablement team. The Tech Lead role is a position that requires strong planning, estimating, collaboration, and application design / development and communication skills. The incumbent will participate in design and development of technology solutions to address business needs. Managers, Lead Business Analysts, application and enterprise architects, vendor partners (both onsite and offshore), and other application development teams. The tech lead position will also be leading the cloud transformation work for our PEGA BPM applications
+ Quality and completeness of detailed technical specifications, solution designs, andode reviews as well as adherence to the non-functional requirements.
+ Acting as a point of contact for technical issues.
+ Ensuring that technical documentation and technical artifacts are accurately Identifying opportunities to reuse strategic components and reduce over-customization.
+ Identify, document and communicate technical risks, issues and alternative solutions discovered during project.
+ Education: Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science/Information Tech desired.
+ Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) in PEGA 8.x or 7.×. with 8 years of software development experience, and 6+ years of PEGA Experience.
+ Strong technical leadership ability and extensive experience implementing PEGA PRPC solutions.
+ Ability to translate business requirements into design/application builds.
+ Knowledge of Relational Databases
+ Experience with Windows, Linux, JBOSS / WebLogic 12.×.
+ Experience with DevOps, UDeploy, Jenkins, Pega Deployment Manager
+ Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
+ Experience with Pega application performance tuning with PLA, SMA, etc.
+ Expertise in Class structures design and knowledge on ECS layers.
+ Expertise in rule set management and rule deployment (product rules / product patches).
+ Expertise in designing Case Management, Workflows and flow actions, User Interfaces, Data Transforms, Report Definition, Activities, Decision rules, Declare Pages, Delegated rules/agility rules, maintenance activities/utilities, DSS, Reports, and upgrade activities, EAR file deployment.
+ Experience working on Job Schedulers and Listeners.
+ Experience with troubleshooting techniques and debugging skills. Expert in Pega OOTB features.
