Job Summary (Primary function)

The Sr Manager, Market Access Operations supports and leads operational excellence efforts of the Market Access team. The role partners with the cross-functional team including Market Access Strategy, Payer Accounts, Strategic Accounts, Channel Marketing, Distribution, and Patient Services in supporting key initiatives of in-line and pipeline products to ensure healthcare providers and patients have access to Incyte's portfolio of products.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

Lead efforts to refine and establish processes to ensure seamless execution of Market Access operations.

Manage the strategic, tactical and operational business planning and processes for Market Access, including the monthly dashboards, quarterly objective tracking and launch readiness plans.

Lead convention strategy and coordination of convention/meeting exhibits.

Coordinate tracking of Market Access sponsorships and memberships ensuring utilization of benefits and vendor reconciliation.

Facilitate Market Access Project Review Committee meetings, including agenda coordination and ensuring appropriate project documentation for review and FMV evaluations.

Partner with Market Access leads to ensure budget excellence through development of strategically aligned annual budgets. Track progress throughout year with monthly accruals and timely communication of budget updates.

Establish strong relationships with vendors and manage contracts related to Market Access data, access tools, and subscriptions.

Support the team in tracking of payer policies and product access metrics.

Manage Payer Account Team customer engagement reporting.

Manage and track product access requests, distribution committee decisions, and communication.

Manage 340B monitoring, analysis and GFI/audits (if necessary).

Log, track and assist in the follow up of product complaints, including support of customer account resolution.

Support state price disclosure and transparency reporting requirements, including relationship with external vendor(s).

Contribute to in-line and pipeline market access strategies, providing integrated analyses, customer and industry insights, and plan or account performance metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate contract execution.

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of managed market segment/channel dynamics.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

Bachelors Degree required.

5+ years experience in pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience required.

2+ years experience in market access/managed care and related data (preferred).

Ability to interpret and analyze complex data.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and facilitation skills.

Independent worker with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrate ability to lead and produce results in a matrix environment.
