Entity and activity description

 

The GM&T WBU delivers technological solutions (molecules, equipment and services) to support the new markets of energy transition, maritime logistics and scientific exploration, in order to accelerate Air Liquide sustainable growth.

To support the energy transition, GM&T brings environmentally friendly solutions to the clean energy market with hydrogen energy and Bio-Natural Gas for vehicles, refrigerated transport using nitrogen, but also the treatment and injection of Biogas into the energy grid as a local power source.

As a player of the deep tech sector, GM&T commercializes technologies dedicated to Space, Aerospace and scientific exploration. GM&T also supplies gases for players in of the maritime sector and provides logistics for cryogenic transportation by sea of value added molecules, such as helium.

GM&T employs 1,800 people world-wide and generated a 2017 revenue of 372 million.

Job Responsibilities

 

This position develops, executes, administers and continuously improves the training process and program within ALATUS. This includes ensuring accurate tracking, maintaining and communicating required training, developing training content and assisting others with development along with identifying external training options. This role works with multiple functions to provide content and training requirements that are to be managed within our systems. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize workload and recommend changes to continuously improve practices and procedures.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Develops and executes global protocols for administration of training requirements within ALATUS

Ensure training programs comply with OSHA, EPA, DOT and any other regulatory training requirements.

Administers and improves training records management program, ensuring that records are kept and destroyed according to ALATUS policies

Develops and executes follow-up processes to ensure training system compliance with company procedures and policies, including auditing content of documents, forms, requests, etc. and making recommendations to users to drive global consistency across the organization.

Develops and assists others in developing content to train different job functions in the areas of manufacturing and operations across ALATUS.

Evaluates outcomes of training systems and suggests and implements corrective or preventive actions to promote continuous improvement.

Utilizes different training tools for Computer-Based Training and classroom to enhance training delivery and retention.

Reports regularly on training metrics, trains and provides user support on use of training systems and follows up on issues with training system usage.

Holds individuals accountable to complete required training and escalates issues for resolution.

Successfully completes all assigned trainings

Qualifications & Competencies

 

Required

Associate degree or higher

7+ years experience administering management systems.

5+ years training experience, including knowledge of effective training methods and approaches

Good knowledge of management systems structure and operation.

Knowledge of fundamental management system principles, such as Management of Change, Document Control, Incident Investigation, etc.

Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint), and Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Drive).

Strong communication, follow-up, internal customer service, and organizational skills.

Ability to build positive working relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues both domestic and international.

Excellent organizational skills with a very high attention to detail and ability to recognize and act upon deviations.

Very fast learner

BA/BS or equivalent work experience
