Makes customers by graciously greeting guests upon arrival, escorting them to their table and providing menus to them once seated. Ensures equality of seating for wait staff and is aware of timing for seating. Manages special requests of guests consistent with table availability. Relays messages to wait staff, bus persons and manager on duty as appropriate. Answers the telephone, taking reservations, special requests and messages. Assists with the duties of wait staff and bus persons as needed to maintain service effectiveness and efficiency.
