About This Position:
The Card Planning & Analysis (P&A) Senior Associate will contribute to forecast process automation and improvement, support monthly forecast process and financial analytics, quarterly earnings, annual budget and capital stress testing analytics, in addition to partnering closely with LOB business teams and functions for core financial reporting, ad-hoc analysis and due diligence.
This position sits within Card P&A Group who provides comprehensive strategic and financial analyses that support decision-making and evaluate performance of the business in furtherance of achieving commercial and financial objectives. The team directly supports the Credit Card CFO and manages financial planning workstreams, such as the monthly forecast process and financial analytics, quarterly earnings, and annual budget and capital stress testing analytics.
+ Develop, implement, and enhance the end-to-end forecast execution processes to improve efficiency
+ Support financial planning workstreams (budget, CECL, stress testing) including managing business strategic inputs and assumptions used in the forecasting model, as well as volume and revenue analysis
+ Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all forecasts
+ Build a close partnership with business, risk management, and finance partners across Card Services Line of Business to ensure best practices and desired results
+ Ad hoc analysis of the business and business drivers
+ Bachelor’s or above degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
+ Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in financial analysis, risk analysis, or data analysis related fields
+ Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude, creative critical thinking and problem-solving skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Excel VBA experience is highly preferred
+ Self-starter with strong initiative, ability to take ownership and drive initiatives forward within the organization
+ Team player with strong organizational skills, and being capable of working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple projects with tight timelines
+ Quick learner with exceptional attention to detail
+ Professional maturity, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills
