About this Position

The Rewards and Benefits Business Process Associate will be responsible for protecting the bank by identifying and preventing misuse of our Chase Ultimate Rewards® and protecting rewards’ customer accounts from fraudulent rewards redemptions. This position sits within the Rewards & Benefits organization of Card Services, a key business within Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking group.

Responsibilities

This role helps to reduce fraud losses and rewards misuse across multiple rewards options. Members of the Fraud and Misuse team use internal and external tools to investigate potential fraud/misuse behaviors and take appropriate actions to prevent further fraud and abuse, while ensuring consistent treatment of customers. The team is also responsible for working with Chase vendors to improve fraud and misuse identification and mitigation efforts. Members must display strict attention to detail and document work thoroughly, as described within procedures.

Qualifications

+ College degree preferred

+ 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a Rewards and Benefits, Fraud, AML, or Controls role

Ideal candidates would be able to do the following:

+ Have independent decision-making skills that can be supported by evidence from multiple sources

+ Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

+ Be able to adapt quickly to changing fraud and misuse behaviors and trends

+ Have strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work

+ Be able to partner with internal departments and external vendors to investigate fraud and identify strategy changes based on current trends
