The Order Management Specialist owns the process for validating and signing off on all accepted quotes in accordance with Cornerstone’s Bookings Policy and all other Cornerstone compliance policies. In addition to the standard Sales Support responsibilities, the Order Management Specialist will also be responsible for validating all incoming orders, monitoring reports, internal customer issue resolution and training for new employees. The role requires collaboration with several teams across the company, including Deal Desk, Billings, Sales Technology and Revenue. This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to the Manager, Deal Desk.
In this role you will…
+ Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to Cornerstone sales order acceptance policies.
+ Process contracts and orders and ensure clean bookings in compliance with company policy.
+ Responsible for daily/monthly audits of all Compliance reports.
+ Coordinate with Deal Desk to enforce best practices around deal structure, order form guidelines, and all other pre-sale processes for a smooth booking process.
+ Possess strong level of expertise in Salesforce.com Application
+ Share best practices with team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of support and contribute to the knowledge base.
+ Contribute ideas and innovations to improve upon existing systems, work processes and procedures.
+ Establish strong relationships with Sales, Billing/Collections, Commissions, Revenue, and other internal resources as appropriate
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant experience
+ 1+ years of experience in a SaaS company
+ Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately explain difficult issues and ability to think quickly
+ Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative
+ Ability to prioritize workload and manage a high volume of orders at quarter and month-end close
+ Ability to understand broader business and financial issues
