We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Controller's team as a Principal Associate. This role will involve assuring the accurate and timely submission of monthly and quarterly information to regulators for the bank stress testing process. This dedicated professional will take ownership for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced time sensitive environment. This person will have excellent communication skills, very strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Coordinating with lines of business submitting information for the stress testing process to ensure accurate data and timely implementation of new requirements.

 

Assisting with compliance to the Regulatory Standard for the stress testing process

 

Establishing and maintaining reconciliation processes to ensure completeness of data submitted.

 

Interacting with Federal Regulators to ensure timely responses to stress testing inquiries.

 

Working closely with business, accounting and information technology colleagues across lines of business as issues emerge and reporting status to management and other stakeholders in a timely manner.

 

Developing recommendations to strengthen internal controls and drive operational efficiency through automated tools, where appropriate.

 

Staying current with evolving industry and regulatory changes.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's Degree or military experience

 

At least 3 years of experience in Finance, or in Accounting or in Auditing or a combination

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

 

At least 1 year of experience in the Financial Services industry

 

At least 1 year of experience with Data Analytics or in Data Visualization or a combination
