For instance, we use data to understand how to hire top talent, to ensure our people are engaged, and to support diversity.We’re looking for an experienced employee listening professional to manage our Employee Listening team, which resides in our People Analytics and Workforce Strategy organization. This team is at the forefront of guiding and designing the employee listening strategies and practices across Facebook. In this role, you will lead a talented team and serve as an active partner with HR and functional leaders to shape and deliver on our overall employee listening strategy. You’ll help develop and refine people processes to make an exceptional workplace even better.

Required Skills:

1. Lead an employee listening team ensuring the team is productive, engaged, and thriving in their career

2. Provide thought leadership and a strategic lens to continuously evolve our listening frameworks, strategies, and practices

3. Partner with Product and Program teams to build integrated strategies and product experiences that simplify sensemaking and action taking across the employee journey

4. Apply sophisticated research and analytical strategies to advance our understanding of the employee experience and deliver useful insights and solutions

5. Identify and oversee research to address questions from org/HR leadership and drive strategic decisions, behaviors, and meaningful change

6. Lead the management and continuous improvement of data architectures, measurement strategies, privacy protection, reporting and insights

7. Partner with People engineering organization on reporting, data delivery, and visualization

8. Develop processes to support research planning and execution in an efficient and scalable manner (e.g. road mapping, automation of repetitive tasks)

9. Excellence at meaning-making and synthesizing data and information into coherent storytelling, recommendations and influence

10. Work collaboratively in a relationship-oriented, matrixed, fluid, growing and complex environment and effectively manage stakeholder relationships

11. Communicate statistical analyses and results, along with implications, to technical and non-technical audiences

12. Provide technical expertise to researchers to guide research design and statistical analyses

13. Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data and business issues

Minimum Qualifications:

14. PhD or MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, organizational behavior, or similar field

15. 7+ years of business experience in people/human resources, serving in an analytics or strategic HR consulting role at a large multinational company

16. 4+ years experience in a survey/employee listening role implementing innovative, large-scale listening programs at a large multinational company or as an external consultant

17. 4+ years experience managing a team of researchers or quantitative focused analysts

18. Experience in the following areas including: employee survey design/construction, survey analysis, weighting, sampling, measurement of employee engagement, large-scale dynamic survey reporting, and applying principles of NLP to large volumes of open-ended comments

19. Knowledge of psychometric principles relating to test construction (e.g., item statistics)

20. Experience applying statistical methods such as linear and logistic regression, relative weights analysis, quasi-experimental research/causal inference techniques (e.g., propensity score matching, regression discontinuity), longitudinal analysis, or multilevel modeling

21. Experience managing and analyzing data using tools such as SQL, R, or Python and experience troubleshooting others’ analyses and code

22. Experience communicating research findings to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge

23. Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, influencing and communication experience

24. Demonstrated experience navigating a fast paced, dynamic working environment

25. Demonstrated track record of dealing with very sensitive data, and exercising proven judgment and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

26. 8+ years of business experience in people/human resources, serving in an analytics or strategic HR consulting role at a large multinational company

27. 5+ years experience in a survey/employee listening role

28. 5+ years experience working internally within a medium to large organization

29. Experience across a wide variety of HR domains and in change management

30. Experience working in the technology industry

31. Experience working with product teams to develop new products and capabilities

32. 2+ years experience managing managers

33. Experience with developing passive listening programs
