Job Description

The Strategic Consultant is responsible for ensuring the success of our customers by providing technical and functional consultation for the Cornerstone solution. A Strategic Consultant must possess a strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate technical concepts and security posture to customers, partners and internal stakeholders.

In this role you will…

+ Serve as a trusted advisor to both internal teams (Direct Sales, Account Management, Solution Consulting, Delivery Success, Customer Success) and external teams (Prospects, Partners)

+ Document and communicate technical feedback and new requirements from the field to Product Management

+ Develop a deep expertise of the Cornerstone applications in the Federal market to effectively position the value of Cornerstone solutions from pre-sales negotiations through implementation

+ Master and maintain cross functional domain expertise of CSOD best practices, technology, architecture, services and integration strategy as well as industry trends

+ Document and communicate technical feedback and new requirements from the field to Product Management

+ Maintain current knowledge of the skills and offering of our Partner ecosystem and the technical details to support those conversations

+ Validate and document scope of work to ensure hypothesis of business outcomes are being achieved for our customers

+ Review and completion of Security Questionnaires for Prospects

+ Lead customers through Authority to Operate (ATO) process as part of implementation

+ Work closely with customer and partner project teams to ensure all stakeholders are working from clear established action plans and delivering projects within established scope and expectations

+ Drive continuous feedback loop with customers, partners and internal stakeholders

+ Certify and maintain product and technical certifications of the Cornerstone solution

You have what it takes if you have…

+ 5+ years of experience in professional services with demonstrated consulting skills in an enterprise-class customer SaaS environment

+ Experience aligning SaaS solutions with customer’s business strategies

+ Displays excellent written and verbal communication

+ Ability to develop and present complex ideas with clear and concise messaging

+ Demonstrates professional courtesy, mutual respect and business ethics

+ Ability to identify trends and interrelationships between data and information

+ Experience interacting with senior executives across multiple industries

+ Ability to consult on many complex engagements simultaneously

+ Ability to travel to on-site meetings within the Washington DC area

+ Travel is up to 30% for this role

+ Prior experience working with Federal Agencies and the DoD Market

+ Working knowledge of Talent Management and Talent Experience industry best practices
